There can be a wide range of issues explaining why you cannot connect to our servers.
The current ports you may open on your router are:
Method 1: Restart the router
Remove the power cord from the router. After all lights on the router have gone out, wait at least 10 seconds, and then reconnect the power cord to the router.
Method 2: Configure the TCP/IP settings
Configure the TCP/IP settings. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click View network status and tasks under Networking and Internet.
Click Change adapter settings.
Right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
Select Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), and then click Properties.
Select Obtain an IPv6 address automatically, select Obtain DNS servers address automatically, and then click OK.
Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties.
Select Obtain an IP address automatically, select Obtain DNS servers address automatically, and then click OK.
Method 3: Use the Ipconfig command-line tool
Use the Ipconfig command-line tool. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, type command prompt in the Search Programs and files box, right-click Command Prompt, and then clickRun as administrator.
At the command prompt, type the following commands. Press Enter after each command:
1. Please make sure to allow exceptions through your firewall and/or antivirus! It's very common for these programs to block access to video games and will need to be given permission to bypass the security of these programs. Do not worry, our game is perfectly safe. Your antivirus and firewall are just doing their job!
2. Open your Windows Control Panel and click Internet Options. Under the Advanced tab, click on Reset and confirm to reset your settings. Retry the launcher.
Common Launcher Issues:
Access Denied: This issue generally is related to antivirus or firewall settings. Please make sure to allow an exception for Winning Putt.
Requesting Elevation: This issue generally is related to accounts without administrative rights. Please make sure to run the game as Administrator and/or disable UAC.
Host_SingleInstance: This issue generally is related to either the UAC or the fact that you may another instance of the launcher running. Please check your task manager and locate "Launcher.exe" and end process. Then run the launcher again.
There may also be times when the server will be down for maintenance. We will always notify our players ahead of time when we'll be doing this.
