There are two very common issues that happen after every patch: Access Denied/Invalid and Source File Corrupted.
The good news is that these issues are easily resolvable.
When the game is updated, the essential files of the game are altered. This can lead to Antivirus and Firewall softwares to treat the change as a potential threat to your system. Therefore, in order to address it you will need to go into your Antivirus and Firewall to add exceptions for Winning Putt. Relaunch Winning Putt afterwards and it should allow you to play the game.
Source File Corrupted
Sometimes there are issues during the patching process. This can happen due to an unstable connection (users on wifi or from other countries report this often). The solution to this problem would be to go into your Winning Putt installation folder and delete the following files:
These two files will be in the main directory. Once deleted, restart the launcher and the game should patch normally.
