This has been a problem for some users who live overseas or have a weak connection strength to the server. The best way to estimate your connection speed to Winning Putt's server is by taking this speedtest to the "Richmond, VA - Comcast" server:
If your ping is around 30ms, you should expect a fast and stable connection.
If your ping is around 60ms, you should expect a relatively reliable connection with the occasional hiccup.
If your ping is around or above 90ms, you should expect to see connection-based problems (based on survey data). Players with high-ping should play the game at their own risk.
If you are experiencing disconnections regularly and have a high ping, there are some ways to lower your ping. However, this doesn't guarantee that you'll be able to play the game reliably.
IMPORTANT: Please keep in-mind that after every patch or maintenance, the server will be impacted due to the increased volume of users. Players with higher ping will see significant impact on the reliability of their connection and we recommend testing your connection on a few friendly rounds before jumping up to ranked matches.

Our system now updates us to indicate whether a connection is dropped from the server or from the player's end. We will go with whatever the system tells us about the match you report.
1) Our main goal is to prevent the problems from happening to our customers by assessing their connections. However, if a customer is accessing the server from outside the US there are no guaranteed solutions.
2) Typically we will compensate players for taking the time to submit their speedtests and any other information we request the first time regardless of ping.
3) We usually request all customers report one disconnection per ticket so the Customer Support Team can organize the information for other teams to look at.
4) We can compensate once-per month in exchange for survey data if it is found our logs indicate that the connection was dropped on the customer's end.
